The place for FUN and being your best is El Cerrito Martial Arts Day Camp, for kids ages 4.5 - 12. Our camp features kid approved themes, martial arts, child safety, outdoor activities, arts & crafts, swimming, dodge ball, Legos, iPad lab, games, and reading time to offer kids days filled with fun and excitement.

Mr. D's Music Club presents programs that get kids ages 8–13 movin', groovin', singin', dancing and laughing. We use a mixture of today's top hits as well as classic pop from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.

The Painter’s Pot mission is to provide an inspiring space to allow for your inner artist to emerge. Providing a space for the creation of memories is our goal. The Painter’s Pot is a place to design and most importantly HAVE FUN!!!

Project Ember is an arts + engineering day camp for kids ages 7-16. Our next design/build project is always a surprise.  We don’t use blueprints or prefabricated kits to solve our design challenges - we use kids’ authentic creativity. We use power tools, a stockpile of construction grade materials, and collaboration.

The Sewing Room offers a nurturing and creative environment for kids (of all ages) to learn this wonderful, practical skill that will last a lifetime. Whether you are interested in pattern making, designing apparel or sewing doll clothes, we are here to help you through the process. "Have fun and get it finished!

Doug's Drama Camp is for elementary age students and we are looking forward to our 19th summer! Camp highlight include a full length evening production of the week's play, excellent roles for all campers to enjoy, theater games, creative drama and improve, storytelling and lots of outdoor playtime at our lovely Oakland Hills locations.

Hanabi Japanese and Judo Summer Camp will be a fun, active introduction to the traditions of Japan: an adventure in physical and cultural education for children from 5 to 14.
Every themed session will have children learning judo, Japanese songs, Japanese stories as well as the main artistic, linguistic or culinary activity.

Cyant connects art and technology to foster learning, creativity and engagement. Our first product makes 3D printing fun and accessible by letting children write and draw and turning their drawings/writings into 3D prints. Through our art-meets-tech workshops, children are engaged in arts and making while learning about technology (e.g. 3D printing).

Kid Effect is dedicated to educating the whole child with a variety of lessons and activities that combine STEM curriculum with the arts. Lessons are devised to inspire the students’ natural creativity and imagination while teaching and building on various academic skills. We use both individualized and group activities to help children develop both independence and cooperative social graces.

Stage Door Conservatory’s three week camps introduce young actors to the many dimensions of producing a musical. Campers will be trained in acting, improvisation, singing and dancing for a musical as well as rehearse for a Jr. version production. Each session culminates in a full scale production. No experience is necessary and participation in the production is guaranteed. 

The Computing Innovation Center offers exciting and unique opportunities for kids and teens ages 5 to 17 to expand their creative interests with technology. We provide coders, makers, builders, and designers with a variety of fun and engaging experiences - no matter their age or level of experience.

The Albany-Berkeley Soccer Club (ABSC) is dedicated to providing opportunities for kids ages 4 through 19 of all ability levels to learn and play soccer in the spirit of sportsmanship and fun. The organization has been running youth soccer programs for over 30 years. 

Bliss Belly Kitchen campers will learn to source, cook, and eat delicious recipes. Each student will emerge a “tool box” of healthy, delicious recipes that they can replicate at home! Whether it’s packing a lunch, making a snack, or helping to prepare a family meal, these students will be prepared to support busy family life challenges with a new found knowledge and empowerment around cooking and good food! Very small class sizes.

Viva La Musica Summer Camp, a puppet show and music camp, presents The Magic Flute by Mozart. We will create a storyline based on elements of the opera and the magical puppet show begins! This camp is for 7-12 year olds. We have small groups up to 6 children, not only musicians.

Steve & Kate's Camps conforms to kids, not the other way around. Instead of a rigid structure, we give our campers choice. Instead of teaching kids the typical way, we give them tools and gentle guidance to help them become autodidacts, people who teach themselves. The difference is subtle–and it’s profound. 

Oakland Feather River Camp, girls and boys, ages 7-15, participate in traditional summer camp activities such as river-swimming, arts and crafts, music, drama, campfires, storytelling, toasting marshmallows over the fire to make s’mores, nature hikes, games and high-energy events like scavenger hunts or the challenge course. Campers are encouraged to try new things, experiencing themselves and others in brand new ways.

Dancing Paintbrush is for children and youth age 7-17.
We demonstrate a variety of materials and techniques to nurture artistic development. We also provide lessons on color theory and famous artists in art history, go on field trips, and host special guests to spark the creative process.

Musically Minded Academy is led by a dynamic staff. Campers dive into music, art, and on stage play. Each week, campers collaborate, leveraging their individual strengths to develop a final performance. Through this work, they convey ideas and emotions and build awareness of nuance, complexity, structure, emphasis and theme in musical expression.

Girls Make Games is a series of international summer camps, workshops and game jams designed to inspire the next generation of designers, creators, and engineers. Camp attendees are introduced to game design, programming, art, audio/music and entrepreneurship. The Girls Make Games flagship three week camp helps girls ages 11-14 take a creative concept and turn it into a fully functional prototype.

At Avid4 Adventure summer camps,we introduce pre-K – 7th graders to the power of authentic outdoor adventure.With help from our time-tested curriculum and insanely experienced instructors,we teach campers of all levels to climb, paddle, bike, hike and thrive in the outdoors.

KIDS for the BAY Summer Camps take advantage of the amazing natural spaces in our own backyard. Campers will explore bay and ocean shorelines, visit botanical gardens, hike along beautiful creeks, collect insects from ponds, kayak on the bay and swim in a lake! Hands-on outdoor science and nature programs facilitated by professional environmental educators.

MOCHA provides hands-on arts activities for children and youth, ages 6-12. MOCHA campers work on a variety of engaging projects based on weekly topics. At the end of each session, family and friends are invited to view and celebrate the week’s masterpieces.

Cultivate a love of learning at QuantumCamp! QC offers compelling, concept-based math and science camps for elementary and middle schoolers. Each camp focuses on a pair of fundamental ideas in math and science that have inspired great thinkers throughout history. QC campers participate in discovery-based activities and experiments guided by inspiring and enthusiastic subject experts.

Soja's camp days will explore the intersection of martial arts, science, and art, featuring a different martial arts theme each day! Activities will include: meditation and Qigong, self defense, yoga, arts & crafts, tumbling, sparring (age appropriate), obstacle courses, lunch time, outdoor exercises and games, kid friendly (age appropriate) martial arts movies on the projector, martial arts/yoga inspired dancing and movement exercises!

Go on, act out at Berkeley Rep School of Theatre. Students of all ages can develop their voices and skills as storytellers, artists, and leaders through Berkeley Rep School of Theatre’s creative and rigorous programming. 

The Berkeley Chess school camps include chess instruction at multiple levels, suitable for all ages K-12. Emphasis is on the joy of the game but with a serious eye to the student’s progress. New material will be presented each week of camp.

Berkeley Ballet Theater brings the joy of dance — with all its physical, mental, and aesthetic benefits — to students from pre-ballet to pre-professional. Whatever a student’s goal, we believe it is best achieved in a well-disciplined, positive, and loving environment.

There is very little “typical” about a day at Adventures in Writing CampCamp opens and ends with an energetic assembly, and throughout the day you are learning without even realizing you are learning. Improvisational games, borrowed from theater, develop brainstorming skills. Music brings Common-Core aligned writing instruction to life.

The Mersey Soccer  Club would like to invite you to sign up your child for one of our Brazil World Cup camps this summer.For over 20 years we have provided fun soccer classes to kids.
The counselors at Mersey Soccer are experienced soccer players with excellent child guidance skills. A favorable student-coaching ratio is maintained to ensure that every child will fully benefit from the low pressure and stimulating program being presented.

Come learn to sew or improve your skills in these hands-on classes with plenty of one-on-one time. Barbara is also an award-winning doll designer who brings her inventive and inquisitive spirit to her sewing classes, workshops in costuming, doll and mask making, and sculpture. She also teaches camps at Stitch Sewing Lab. Class sizes are small.

Galileo ART, SCIENCE AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES FOR PRE-K – 5TH GRADERS. Designed to inspire budding innovators, our award-winning camps liberate kids to explore and create without fear of mistakes.
